For the launch of the new Lenovo Legion generation at Fortress Sydney, experiential agency FivebyFive engaged Emissaries to deliver a highly specialized, audience-aligned staffing solution. We deployed a diverse team of authentic fantasy, sci-fi, and LARP cosplayers alongside experienced Brand Ambassadors to seamlessly merge immersive subculture entertainment with technical event support. The result was a cohesive, high-energy activation that resonated deeply with the gaming community while keeping operational execution completely tight.

Staffing the Experience with Confidence

The brief required a team that could navigate two entirely different wavelengths: authentic fan engagement and structured event logistics. To match the subculture atmosphere of Fortress Sydney, Emissaries provided a specialized roster of fantasy and sci-fi NPC cosplayers, tavern LARPers, and referee cosplayers who possessed a genuine affinity for the gaming world. Operating as an extension of the Lenovo brand, these character performers interacted directly with patrons, bringing the event’s thematic universe to life with the exact kind of inside knowledge and credibility that gaming communities respect.

Simultaneously, our Brand Ambassadors anchored the operational side of the evening, providing reliable on-ground support where technical and crowd fluidities mattered most. From managing the claw machine activation to assisting with the LAN masterclass, the team maintained an organized, high-standard presence.
