CommBank at the Brisbane 2032 Emblem Launch

CommBank at the Brisbane 2032 Emblem Launch

Emissaries supplied a team leader and brand ambassadors in Brisbane for CommBank at the official launch of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games emblems. Engaged by The Park, our team ran the guest experience at CommBank’s Founding Fans photo activation, celebrating the bank’s role as Founding Partner of the Games at South Bank.

Brand Ambassadors in Brisbane for a Games Milestone

The emblem launch was the first time Queenslanders gathered to celebrate the official look of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Pieces of the design had been revealed across the state in the week before, and on the night the complete emblems came together at South Bank.

CommBank became the Founding Partner and Official Bank of Brisbane 2032 earlier in the year. Its activation leaned into that role by inviting the public to become Founding Fans with a moment of their own.

Inside a dedicated CommBank zone, guests picked up sporting props such as yellow barbells, gymnastics ribbons and batons, then stepped into a photo booth. Each guest left with a printed photo and could receive a digital copy by email to share on socials.

The Park engaged Emissaries to supply a team leader and three brand ambassadors. Our team welcomed fans, explained the experience and kept the queue moving. A specialist operator ran the booth itself.

The evening ran in two public sessions, split by stage formalities and a live 6pm broadcast cross revealing the emblem. The team paused the activation for the reveal, then reopened smoothly for the second wave of fans.

Because props passed from guest to guest all night, the team wiped down each prop after every use. Clear escalation lines were also in place. Banking questions went to the onsite CommBank lead, while activation questions went to The Park.
